  • Director of Bosnia and Herzegoviona section of the Society for Threatened Peoples, a human rights organisation dedicated to the documentation of the human rights abuses and war crimes – including mass rape and support for the survivor’s rights.
  • Her work focus: peaceful coexistence and unity among Bosnia’s diverse religious communities and ethnic groups.
  • Founder of the Zenica Centre for Research on War Crimes and Genocide
  • Having interviewed or received statements from more than 10,000 women raped during the Bosnian war
  • Previously being part of the campaign for mass rape victims to equal a status of civilian victim of war and collecting over 50,000 signatures by citizens of Sarajevo and other parts of B&H
  • Founding, in 2001, the first network of women’s organisation in Bosnia & Herzegovina –  FOKUS-BiH – with the goal to support the return of refugees and their reintegration after the return and to strengthen the democratic processes in the state. (It was the first multiethnic and multiregional network in B&H and helped especially the women in rural parts of the state by supporting agricultural projects, projects for women’s rights improvement as for education, employment and participation in politics, government and ruling.)
