She has a B.A. and M.A. in social anthropology and a Ph.D. in Anthropology from the ENAH, and is a research professor at the Colegio de Tlaxcala, where she has collaborated and directed several research projects at the UNAM, UAEM, INI, ENAH and in the agencies where she has worked. On multiple occasions he has been distinguished with invitations to participate as speaker and lecturer in seminars, colloquiums, international meetings. She is a member of the Agroecology Network as a way of life (AFOVI) and the organization Tijtoca Nemilitztli.
