Bio for Youichi Nishimura
Born in Awaji Island, Hyogo, Japan in 1942. He retired from Sumoto Industrial High School in 2003. Since 2004, he has been volunteering at the Tu Du Peace Village in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, while continuing to cover victims of defoliants and dioxins. He has published a book “Defoliants in Vietnam: Chasing the Dioxins”, and as a private investigation, he has recorded information and photographs of over 1,000 survivors of Agent Orange across Vietnam.
