Nicoletta Dentico, journalist and writer, has a recognized experience in international development, public health, and human rights.  She led the Campaign to Ban Landmines in Italy, then directed Médecines Sans Frontières (MSF), inaugurating the migrants’ programs in the Southern regions of Italy.  She has been very involved in the MSF Campaign on Access to Essential Medicines since its inception and worked for the World Health Organization (WHO) on the implementation of the global strategy on public health, innovation and intellectual property. She currently leads the global health justice program at Society for International Development (SID). She has written extensively on health rights and development. Her most recent books are: “Rich and Generous? The Dark Weft of Philanthrocapitalism” (2020); “Health Geopolitics: COVID-19, WHO and the Pandemic Challenges” (2021).
