Havin Guneser is an engineer, journalist, and women’s rights activist who writes and speaks extensively about Abdullah Öcalan and the revolution in Rojava. She is one of the spokes-persons for the International Initiative “Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan—Peace in Kurdistan” and the translator of several of Öcalan’s books. She is on the advisory board of the journal Jineoloji and is the author of “Art of Freedom: Brief History of Kurdish Liberation Movement.”
