Samah Jabr

Samah Jabr is a psychiatrist and psychotherapist living in East Jerusalem, serving as the Head of the Mental Health Unit within the Palestinian Ministry of Health. She is well-known internationally as an advocate and activist for Palestinian human rights and a prolific author and speaker in both scholarly and popular media. She is featured in the documentary film Beyond the Front Lines (https://beyondthefrontlines.com/). Dr. Jabr is a founding/ steering com- mittee member of the Palestine-Global Mental Health Network (https://www.pgmhn.org/) and a member of the clinical faculty of George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
