Salete CAROLLO

Salete Maria Carollo, a member of the Landless Rural Workers’ Movement since 1992, was one of the founders of the Cooperative of Settled Workers of the Porto Alegre Region (COOTAP) and the Agricultural Production Cooperative (CPA). For 16 years she took on tasks in the MST’s International Cooperation and Solidarity area. In 2022 she was awarded the Citizen Woman Trophy by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Rio Grande do Sul.
