Nantapon Junngurn is alumni of Silpakorn University Bangkok and the Architectural Association London. Throughout his career he had worked/interned at Dusitnanond Architect & Associates Bangkok, Toyo Ito & Associates Tokyo, and Zaha Hadid Architects London. He taught at Architecture Department Silpakorn University since 2007, and founded JUNNARCHITECT in 2008.
He was awarded first prize in 2001 12th Takiron International Design Competition judged by Kengo Kuma, and received both 2002 Japan Institute of Architects Bunka Cho Fellowship Programme and
2005 Royal Thai Government Scholarship to continue his study at the prestigious AA School’s Design Research Lab (DRL).
Alongside teaching and practicing, Nantapon also listed as committee of the Association of Siamese Architects between 2016-2017, chairman of the Architect Expo 2017, and was recently part of the curatorial team of Thailand Pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale 2018.
