Manneke Budiman currently works at the Department of Literature, Faculty of Humanities University of Indonesia. Manneke does research in World Literatures, Popualr Culture, Literary Theory and Comparative Literature. His current project is ‘local response to global cultural flow, especially from East Asia and the Middle East to Southeast Asia.’
