Nationality : Hong Kong
Kan is a chartered member of RIBA. He received education in HKU (1st class honour), UCL and CUHK (best studio award). Kan’s works had been exhibited and published widely and his thesis was nominated for RIBA president awards. He has taught in CUHK, CityU in HK and Makerere University in Uganda. Kan was also involved in different exhibitions including HKSZ biennales 2009 and 2012, and Venice Biennale in 2016 and 2018.
In 2015, Kan setup Aravia Design Limited, a HK-based studio focusing on public realm and commercial architecture, with projects ranging from transit-oriented developments to commercial interior space. Over the years, Aravia has received awards from the US, Europe, China and HK.
In 2018, Kan was awarded the Youth Leader in Greater Bay Area and Associate Fellowship for Social Enterprise Research Academy. Kan is currently a consultant for CRCC and pursuing a PhD.
