Name: Anita Rampal

Professor Anita Rampal was the Dean, Faculty of Education, Delhi University. She is an EC member of the International Commission on Mathematics Instruction (ICMI). She was a Nehru Fellow, Director of the National Literacy Resource Centre at the National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie, and was involved with the National Curriculum Framework 2005 as well as the Chairperson of the NCERT Primary Textbook Development Teams. She has been a part of national policy advisory committees, educational initiatives of states, the Right to Education, the people’s science movement, National Literacy Campaigns, and the Hoshangabad Science Teaching Programme. She works in the areas of Policy Studies, Curriculum Studies, Education for Sustainable Development, Critical Mathematics Education, Science-Technology-Society Studies and Teacher Education.
