She is an aspiring Architect with an intention to venture in Indigenous Culture Study and is deeply affiliated with the Talaandig Indigenous Peoples of Bukidnon. She was one of the Associates of Institute for Planning and Design – USC, that spearheaded various community engagements during Typhoon Haiyan in Northern Cebu / Bantayan Island. Participated in a research group for REALL international (former Homeless International) that conducted community mapping in Mandaue and Cebu Urban poor housings.
She also along with Cebuano Artists did focus group rehabilitation for affected children in the aftermath of Bohol earthquake in 2013. Engaging in Community works and Volunteerism through Art and Architecture have been her avenue and passions for several years.
Born and raised from the Island of Mindanao a true blooded Mindanaoan, she was influenced to envision a progressive Mindanao through the eyes of her grandparents especially her grandfather who was a World War 2 Military Veteran. Growing up learning stories of Mindanao then and experiencing it through her venture is where her story of advocacies commences.
Few of her visions are collated in project ideas that plan to connect community base enterprises; Co-founded NODPH / No to Open Defecation Campaign in an intention to help build sustainable toilets for far flung areas; Formulated a study on vendorship system in the context of grassroot development placemaking that support small scale human centered design.
