Professor Lau Kin Chi has taught in Lingnan University for over 35 years, first in translation and then in cultural studies. She is currently coordinator of the Programme on Cultures of Sustainability, Centre for Cultural Research and Development, Lingnan University. She is also director of the Executive Team of the Global University for Sustainability. She has been involved in the rural reconstruction movement in China for over two decades, and she is also board member of PeaceWomen across the Globe.
